Crazyates, Very easy to manage Print Jobs We manage 70 printers in 8 different buildings for a school district. We needed some way to view all print jobs, and delete old jobs en-masse. The Google Cloud Print web interface only lets you delete one job at a time, and considering we had tens of thousands of jobs, this was not feasible.
This app lets us select multiple print jobs, and delete them all at once. This is the only app anywhere we could find that lets us do what we wanted. This saved us hours of time! Well worth the $5. My only complaint is that when navigating to a printer, and selecting all of it’s jobs to delete, it only deletes 200 or so before refreshing, and then you have to repeat the process to delete the remaining jobs.
If a printer has 3,000 old jobs, this means you have to repeat the process 15x or so. It also seems to have a memory leak, as its memory usage will build and build. A quick close and reopen seems to fix it, so not a big deal. Crazyates, Very easy to manage Print Jobs We manage 70 printers in 8 different buildings for a school district.

I have been using the Cloud Printer app for many months now and have really enjoyed how much easier it has allowed me to print remotely. I have added both classic and cloud-ready printers to Google Cloud Print and they have all worked flawlessly. I appreciate the increased functionality with the Automator plug-in that allows me to print directly from other programs on my computer. Recently, I ran into my first technical issue with the software. I’m not certain it if was my my computer or the app, but I emailed Somasundaram, the developer, and got a response that same day. He was helpful and friendly and my issue was resolved almost immediately! Kudos to the developer’s support!
This newest version (2.0.2) has added some excellent new functionality for several settings that were severely lacking (I believe due to Google, not the app). Now, I have access to printer settings that I would normally have on a local printer, including printing multiple copies, duplex printing, orientation, color, and more. That $1 for the in-app purchase of these extra settings was well worth it to support the developer! Oscabat, Fantastic and highly productive app!

FooledAgainAndAgain, Excellent utility for Cloud Print everywhere I’m using a bunch of Epson Printers all setup in Google Cloud Print (GCP).
Of course there are other things on these printers like Epson Connect, but GCP is the only option for a Chromebook I also have in my collection, and I’ve been hoping GCP would work as a universal solution that would let me print anything from anywhere. E.g., I work design files at home, and would like to send these to a tabloid printer at the office. Cloud Printer installs an app that provides you with visibility into all of your Google Cloud Printers, and then allows you to download a script from the developer to setup a “virtual” device that the system can print to. By printing to this “Google-Cloud-Printer”, a job is processed and then sent to the Cloud Printer application. In the application, the job is then held and listed as the “active job” at the bottom of the application, and once you select a printer from the list of Google Cloud Printers, you click on the “submit job” button to send your job to that printer. So an extra hop beyond just printing to the target device, but this extra hop allows you to print from any application, e.g.
Adobe Photoshop, and still send your job to any google cloud printer. Makes GCP much more useful, and if Google weren’t fixated on GCP being mostly about Chromebooks, I would have expected an application like this from them. Thanks Somasundaram! Click to expand.I just set it up with my wifi via the cable connected to my desktop and once it is setup with wireless, i use it through the App, 'Printer Share'. I finds the printer and you have the option to use Google Cloud or just print with the printer with options to print from photos, texts, etc.whatever is on your phone or tablet that you want to print.
I dont have an iPhone or ipad so i cant answer to that. I dont use HP's services or their printer App. Granted i dont use this very often but it is convienient.
